Portmeirion

Portmeirion

Portmeirion, just a short drive away from Castle View, is a famous tourist village. Well known internationally as a unique filming location, this village is beautiful and most certainly different. The village was intentionally developed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis to demonstrate how nature and buildings can come together as one. The pastel painted buildings are a true marvel, drawing on Italian and Mediterranean inspiration, you feel as though you have been transported into a European piazza when you visit Portmeirion.
